IHEC Carthage is one of the most prestigious universities in Tunisia and ranks 6th in francophone Africa. Founded in 1942, It is also the oldest business university in the country. Not only it is situated in the top universities in Africa, IHEC Carthage is also situated on a very exceptional hill. The hill of Sainte-Monique offers students and professors a breathtaking view. On the right the mountain of Boukornine, on the left the small village of Sidi Bousaïd, a village that attracts millions of tourists every summer owing to its unique architectural style and rich history. IHEC Carthage takes its name from the Carthaginian Empire that was founded in 814 BC. The queer thing about it is that historians, among them Herodotus often referred to as “The Father of History” in his famous book “The Histories”, argue that Carthage was the first empire in the humankind to rely crucially on commerce and trading. Carthage’s merchant ships visited every major port of the Mediterranean as well as Britain and the Atlantic coast of Africa. We believe in IHEC Carthage that we have inherited its legacy of producing the best traders for the modern economy. Our mission is to form professionals that will be leaders of tomorrow. Therefore, our learning process does not depend only on business courses but also on community life and real-world challenges that make IHEC Carthage have its unique image and always a pioneer in innovating the educational system in Tunisia. Indeed, with more than 20 clubs and associations fully active, IHEC Carthage is a leader in the fulfillment of students’ potential. Summer school is a proof of this vision. This project is an opportunity for any interested student to sit in unique courses taught by professionals from all around the globe. They will be sharing their knowledge and experience with as what we hope will be very hungry students.
