MOTTO Grow, Connect, Develop VISION Empowering One Professional at a Time OBJECTIVES - Connecting Tunisian Fulbright alumni with each other and their community. - Assisting returning Fulbright alumni with reintegration in Tunisia and implementing their alumni- and community-oriented projects. - Exchanging knowledge and skills between Fulbright alumni and transferring them to the local community. - Serving underprivileged areas through the Fulbright alumni expertise and know-how. ACTIVITIES - Professional and Academic Development Workshops (monthly): CV/Resume Writing, Successful Job Interviews, Technical Writing (scholarship applications), Academic Writing (journal articles, theses), etc. - English Teacher Training Workshops: to introduce professionals to modern techniques of teaching. - Education Talks (bi-monthly): semi-academic meetings to discuss education matters in Tunisia and provide professionals with an opportunity to network. - Field Actions: good-will actions to involve the alumni in the community (blood drives, story reading for children, etc.) - Training Workshops (bi-monthly): the Tunisian Fulbright Society opens its internal training sessions to alumni from other programs to be part of it. MORE ABOUT THE TUNISIAN FULBRIGHT SOCIETY The Tunisian Fulbright Society was registered in March 2017, but it had been active since 2009. The board consists of Fulbright alumna Khouloud Khammassi, Founding President; Noorjahen Jemaa, secretary general; and Fadoua Harrabi, Treasurer.
